FIREWORKS are
beautiful. (( : i love them. superb.
had a girl's night out yesterday . me , jiat , fen, hwan and shermaine. we went to marina bay to watch PORTUGUESE fireworks display. had a place which sells yummy local food. and obviously, the place is packed. we stood by a table waiting for the people to move. but somehow, they don't seem to have the intention of moving. and so, yufen said some stuffs. and we had a plan. we will drink finish our can drinks. then we will slam it on their table and walked away. we DO intend to do it. but then we saw the people behind us moving. so.. yufen went to sit down. an AUNTIE who obviously is a typical singaporean with KIASU plus KIASI character, came running and snatch the chair from yufen. she sat down and grabbed the chairs beside her and waved to HER family. yufen stared at her and she ignored her. after that , jiat and i sat down opposite her. snatch more chairs from her and sat down. and then, the hot-tempered me started complaining REAL loud to jiat xing about some people who have no manners and are so KIASU. that auntie then said some stuffs about we shld not behave like this and that she did not see us waiting for the table. oh come on. who's she lying to ? we are not some 3 year old kids. we WERE standing infront of that table. and obviously she had seen yufen trying to sit. how can she be so UNCIVILISED by snatching the chair away from her ? while she's yakking like some mad woman, me and weihwan just kept looking at our handphones and chatted. when her family reached she complained to them by using CANTONESE. i guess she thinks we do not understand cantonese. but too bad, i DO UNDERSTAND. i wanted to talk back her. but i'm not like her. i'm a educated student. i know the consequences. if i argued with her, people will be looking at us . i'm not dumb. her family are okay. it's just that idiot AUNTIE. the dad was good. the problems lies with the action of the AUNTIE. it's not our fault. it's HER fault . weihwan even took her photo down. and i'm going to tell everyone about her. how can an adult be so uncivilised? shouldn't adult be more sensible ? i'm so ashamed i'm a singaporean. TYPICAL. it's lucky there's many singaporean who ain't like her. imagine the whole world people who is like her, oh GAWD. i can't even imagine that. it's too absurb.
anyway, the fireworks start. and everyone rush to watch and take photos. our beloved yufen sacrifice and went to look for seats. she's clever. she knew everyone would abandoned their seats and went to watch. and so, she found a wonderful place. (( : fireworks are nice. just so beautiful. took lots of photos of it. I LOVE THEM.
